We booked the band for our wedding last month and it was the BEST decision, a really fun and lively addition to the day. The music and dancing was enjoyed by everyone, even those who don't usually dance. The band are amazing and have dances everyone can join in with. Absolutely amazing! I hired Still Reeling for my sister's hen party and I couldn't have wished for a better night! Myself, my sister and all the guests were very impressed and had the best time. The band themselves are very talented and the caller was very patient with us! They read the room perfectly and timed the breaks well. The dances chosen were perfect and very inclusive to the ones who had never experienced Ceilidh dancing before. Couldn't have asked for better communication when booking the band too! Still Reeling Ceilidh & Barn Dance Band played for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. That doesn't mean there were a load of 'old' people at our party. They were the best Band that many seasoned barn dance people have heard. Every dance had a FULL dance floor without any encouragement. A fabulous night was enjoyed by all. Still Reeling played for our daughter's wedding at the end of April and everyone had a marvellous time. Their musicianship was excellent as were the caller's instructions (it really helped that he came out into the hall to explain and demonstrate); throughout the whole of the evening the dance floor was packed with young and old alike having a great time. The pre wedding correspondence with Mary was excellent too and she answered any questions I had. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a ceilidh band for an event  - KB

Mary and the band were great at our daughter's wedding celebration. They were friendly and professional and very flexible and adaptable. We had a wide range of ages taking part and the caller and the band were great with everyone and particularly the younger children, making sure that they could take part in the dances. It was very relaxed and enjoyable and they really contributed to a great family celebration. We'd definitely recommend them  -  SB

Still Reeling did a great set for our daughters' naming ceremony. We had the band of 4, including Paul the caller who also played and sang. It was a great mix of dances, suitable for all ages and abilities, tunes and a couple of songs too. They were brilliant at reacting to the crowd knowing when to wait for the next dance and when to push on to get dancers up. Really enjoyed the music and the dancing. Thank you x  -  TB
